Tamil language Film (with English subtitles) about the landmines issue in Sri Lanka. A young Tamil woman, Selvi, along with her infant child, flees her native village during the last stages of the ethnic war between the Srilankan Army and the LTTE in Sri Lanka. While crossing the fields, Selvi finds herself stranded on a minefield. Right then, Asoka, a Srilankan Army Lieutenant, bisects her. Asoka suspects Selvi to be a militant courier for the LTTE.
